The forums were relatively calm today, here are some interesting forum tidbits.

-Your “server region” is decided by where the billing information comes from.

“Importing the game from the United States will not grant access to the North American servers. You will need a valid North American billing method in order to play in that region. We recommend, however, that you play on the servers in your region.

I cannot say when the planned solution for those who want to connect cross-regionally will occur; I have only been told it will be after European release. ”

-Caydiem put some monthly payment rumors to rest.

“We have not yet decided on a monthly fee. When that information becomes available, we’ll share. ”

The forums should pick up in discussion tonight. I will be sure to update you all in a few hours.

Hello, Aline, your local forum watcher here, bring you up to date news on whats going on over at the WoW Beta Forums.

-There will be arenas around the world, where GM events will take place. These events will contain players fighting against many different tiers of monsters that the GMs create.

“We are planning to do various types of events run in conjunction with the GM team, similar to what you just described, however an automated system. (As far as I know)”

-The LFG system is going to have a revamp soon.

“We’ll be sure to bring it up today and hopefully have an answer for this (I’m wondering too) by the end of day today. ”

-”Force servers” were recently explained in more detail by Tyren.

“”Forced servers” probably wasn’t the best way to word it.

Servers will be region specific. Players in North America will initially be able to play on North American servers, and European players will initially be able to play on European servers, and likewise for Asian players.

We are working toward allowing players in different regions to play on the North American servers, should they choose, after the European launch of World of Warcraft. ”

I will bring you more updates as they are posted on the boards.
